One of the great surprises this year is a debut album by a three piece indie rock band from Northern Ireland. Two Door Cinema Club have been quietly picking up steam after their spring release of Tourist History, which combines the usually indie rock sound but uses synth beats instead of drums. Fans would call the results solid, critics would call it repetitive. They both can agree though that the record shows great displays of incredibly catchy rhythm, as seen in their first single, Something Good Can Work.
